Scientists have discovered that cats have developed an elaborate communication system with hundreds of vocalizations to tell humans what they want or need. Researchers have also found that cats can distinguish their owners’ voices from those of other people.
Some cats respond to voices by moving their heads and/or ears nearer the person who was speaking to them. Others prefer to ‘talk’ and tell their opinion! Like the cute kitty in the video below. She was playing in the garden when her human says it’s time to go inside. The cat’s response is hilarious!
